SCHEELS 5K Sunset Run/Walk, 1K Youth Run

Thank you for another great year! Registration is open for 2010. Please check back next year to register for 2010.

Register at SCHEELS, Fox River Mall by 9:00 p.m. Wed. July 14 or on-line at Active.com or by mail (click to download form).

Come out for a run and fun at the annual Paperfest Celebration, including live music, food, drinks and games for kids (and adults). Free Concert following the race. All proceeds benefit nonprofit and civic organizations in the Fox Valley area.

Directions From Hwy 441 take Hwy CE (College Ave) east. Take Railroad St. north to Kimberly Ave. Take Kimberly Ave. west to Sunset Park Road (the west entry into Sunset Point Park). See map on back of registration form.

Entry Fees 5K Entry fees: The 5K Run & Walk Entry Fee is $15.00 if received by July 09, 2010, or $20.00 after July 09. (Families of three or more at the same address: subtract $2 for each person). Entries are nonrefundable. A short sleeve race shirt is included for the price of entry. Shirt sizes and/or availability are not guaranteed for entries after July 09, 2010. You may also register the night of the event. See below.

Youth Run & Walk This event is for children age 12 and under, and includes all ability levels. The 1K Fun Run starts at approximately 7:30PM. There is no entry fee for this run and no shirt will be distributed. Parents & Guardians are welcome to accompany their children during the run/walk. Goodie bags and awards will be distributed at the finish line.

Course The 5K (3.1 mile) two-lap course winds through Sunset Park and the nearby residential area. See map on back of registration form.

Awards The Awards Ceremony will start at approximately 7:45 PM. Plaques will be awarded to the top three female and male finishers overall. Overall winners do not place in age groups. Medals will be awarded to the top three female and male participants in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Night Before Registration: Optional Thurs. 7/15/10 : 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. Shelter #2 Registration Area - Sunset Park. Please note: No Thurs night packet pick-up this year due to chip timing - See Below.

Chip Timing Chip pick-up/T-shirt pick-up for all entrants night of race. Arrive Early.

Race Day Packet Pick-Up & Race Day Registration: 4:30 p.m. to 6:10 p.m., Shelter #2, Sunset Park, West Entry
